Determine the RPM from sound

siSound2rpm is a unique tool for the computation of the rotational speed (RPM) from the complex sound or vibration of a machine. The frequency of the rotation is computed directly from the time signal of s sound or vibration sensor. This is especially useful if the RPM information is not available otherwise.

In contrast to most other tools siSound2rpm is able to reconstruct the RPM contour even if some harmonics of the sound are not prominent for the whole RPM range as long as other harmonic components are available during these times. In addition the resulting RPM curve can be edited and smoothed using powerful and intuitive tools.
